These felt pads couldn't be better!
I was really happy to find these. From the picture they looked much heavier than the much more expensive ones I had purchased at Ikea so I decided to take the chance.
We just remodeled our kitchen and family room. Instead of the old carpet and vinyl flooring we installed new cherry wood flooring. We spent a lot of time installing sanding staining and sealing the floor.
We purchased a new table and eight chairs for the dining area and put these pads on all of those. We also put them on two sofas a heavy coffee table and a large chair and ottoman. On many of these we put 4 or 5 of these felt pads on each leg due to the size of the bottom of the legs.
All of these slide effortlessly over the floor completely protecting it. So I was worried that these pads might cause the chair or sofas to move when someone sits on them but that hasn't happened. The texture of the pads makes it such that when someone sits their weight holds the sofa or chair in place and we have had no problem with it sliding our of position.
These pads are the best I can imagine. Plus I still have many left for future needs.More detail ...
